Our ability to build bespoke units which utilise every nook and cranny of a smaller kitchen to maximise both storage and workspace mean we are often able to create a much more useable and versatile kitchen than your average kitchen manufacture. We have many years of experience in designing and fitting kitchens in all kinds of rooms and can use this experience to ensure you get the most out of your space.These kitchens are typically priced between £8,000 and £12,000.

Our country kitchen units are crafted from solid pine and designed to fit your space, unlike standard kitchen units. Traditional skills mean traditional quality and you will find features like durable dovetail joints alongside options like modern soft close drawer runners, so you can enjoy the country-style alongside the comforts of modern living.



Ordering one of our amazing country kitchens is easy, just follow these steps

  • First step is to give us a call or drop us an email. We can travel within most of England for our design visits, but we do ask that if you live outside LN, DN, NG or PE postcodes, you send us a basic plan so we can give you an idea of price before we visit. The plan doesn’t have to be too technical, just an outline of dimensions as well as window and door positions. Remember to include your kitchen appliances too – we don’t supply these, but we do build around whatever you choose.
  • At the end of our visit, we will let you know the price of your kitchen, which will include elements like sinks and taps, as well as your hand-built units, fitting and VAT.
  • When you have had time to review the quote and iron out any details, we’ll arrange a suitable time for fitting your kitchen. We ask for a ten per cent deposit, and the balance is due on the day your kitchen is fitted.

Main characteristics of country style kitchens

Whether you want to echo the style found in farmhouse kitchens or prefer the more modern edge of an industrial country kitchen there are a few key characteristics that will give you the type of look you want. Materials play a big part, so when you’re asking yourself “what is a country kitchen” this is a key point. We will add in other features too, like distressed oak beams in the extractor housing that will help you blend modern convenience with the traditional kitchen style.

Other classic characteristics of a vintage rustic kitchen are things like beautiful Belfast sinks which we offer in our bespoke and freestanding units and can adapt to fit your space. Practical storage is easy in a country rustic kitchen too and choosing one of our beautiful larder units is a great way to make the most of your space as well as create that traditional kitchen feel. We have a range of butcher’s blocks and islands that give you valuable extra workspace and can come with wicker storage baskets that add a little edge of detail to maximise the country vibe. Our units can be adapted to make the most of high ceilings that feature in many country-style properties, and our talented craftsmen will take account of any quirky features of your space like out-of-square walls or uneven floors.

The joy of having a country kitchen that is built to fit your needs is that it gives you real flexibility. As well as being able to choose just the right blend of units, you can choose from a range of colours and handles. Our units come with wooden knobs as standard, or you can choose from a selection of over forty handle styles including metal cup handles, and elegant gothic d shapes. Our expert designers will advise you about lighting as well, giving you just the right combination of practical task-focused lighting, such as under-cabinet fittings, and balanced ambient light that creates a perfect atmosphere for socialising with family and friends.

Colour plays a big part too, and whether you opt for traditional country colours like our Devonshire cream or soft Yorkshire sage green, or decide to bring a more industrial edge by choosing London steel or Humber sand, we can help you mix and match colours to get just the right look. Whatever look you want to create, we will work closely with you so you have a country kitchen with durable traditional craftsmanship, skilled engineering and timeless good looks.
