Freestanding Kitchen Wall Cupboards

From 300-millimeter to 600-millimeter designs, our single door kitchen wall units are classic and stylish. Each cabinet features two shelves for storing your plates, cups, or food items. The doors are customisable allowing you to hang them from either direction depending on the placement in your kitchen. Each door has a magnetic closure for secure latching.

Each of our freestanding cabinets leaves 50 millimetres of space under the bottom for you to add under cabinet lighting if you choose. Also, a 25-millimeter void area behind each cupboard is open giving the installer room to level the kitchen cabinets. You can request the cornices come loose, or we will ship them attached.

When you wish to order your kitchen wall cupboards with the option of several doors, Murdoch Troon has options with two or more panels available. Each bank of cabinets comes with the same cornice as our single door cupboards. You can opt for this to come loose if preferred

Each cupboard comes with two adjustable shelves which are customisable letting you adjust them to the exact height you need. The same pine tongue-and-groove backboards are used in these cabinets. The two-door cupboards are available in sizes from 650 to 1200 millimetres giving you plenty of options for customising the units to your living space, and can also be made to any size upon request, you aren’t limited to the multiples of 5cm shown in the drop down menus

The three-door cabinet is available in sizes as small as 1250 millimetres. We also supply units as large as 1750 millimetres for large kitchen designs. These pine kitchen cupboards feature the same characteristics as the single and double door cabinets with roller catches and pine backboards

Four-door variants include all the features of the smaller units giving you the same classic Murdoch Troon style and construction. Our largest bank of cabinet doors features adjustable shelves and models between 1800 and 2400 millimetre sizes. These cabinets are 800 millimetres tall, though this can be changed upon request.

Another design feature includes hanging wall cabinets with open storage space between the shelves. We offer two styles with a single door cabinet on each side of a twelve-plate rack, or a double cupboard design with room for sixteen plates between the side units.

The single door comes in sizes that range from 1600 to 2000 millimetres wide. Each cupboard is 800 millimetres tall. The dual door option is available in 2280 millimetres wide. This cabinet is 900 millimetres tall. 


If you prefer a wine rack above the plate shelf, then our 1780 millimetre long single door cabinet is available. This option is 900 millimetres tall and one-third the size deep. This model fits twelve plates with holding spindles in the front and the back of the cabinet. You can store up to ten bottles of your favourite wine in our kitchen wall cabinets. With the bottle storage sitting above the plates, setting the table is a breeze giving you a traditional design with custom features for your lifestyle.
