Country Cottage Kitchens
Our traditional country style furniture marries in well with the rustic nature and features of many barn and farmhouse kitchens. The use of distressed oak beams in the extractor housings can provide a focal point which blends well in these surroundings, with the extra height added to the units meaning they are in proportion with the high ceilings and vast spaces often present in these kinds of buildings. Extra worktop space is also provided by the wide array of central island units and preparation tables we can produce. These kitchens are typically priced between £8,000 and £15,000.

Ordering one of our amazing country kitchens is easy, just follow these steps
First of all, you can give us a call or drop us an email. We travel to most of England for our initial visits, but we do ask that if you live outside LN, DN, NG or PE postcodes, you send us an outline plan so we can give you a basic idea of costs before we visit. It doesn’t have to be overly detailed, just the dimensions of your space, along with positions of doors and windows. Include your kitchen appliances as well -whilst we don’t supply these directly, we will build around whatever you’ve chosen.
At the end of our visit, we will let you know the price of your kitchen, which will include elements like sinks and taps, as well as your hand-built units, fitting and VAT.
When you have had time to review the quote and iron out any details, we’ll arrange a suitable time for fitting your kitchen. We ask for a ten per cent deposit, and the balance is due on the day your kitchen is fitted.

Main characteristics of country style kitchens

The joy of having a country kitchen that is built to fit your needs is that it gives you real flexibility. As well as being able to choose just the right blend of units, you can choose from a range of colours and handles. Our units come with wooden knobs as standard, or you can choose from a selection of over forty handle styles including metal cup handles, and elegant gothic d shapes. Our expert designers will advise you about lighting as well, giving you just the right combination of practical task-focused lighting, such as under-cabinet fittings, and balanced ambient light that creates a perfect atmosphere for socialising with family and friends.
Colour plays a big part too, and whether you opt for traditional country colours like our Devonshire cream or soft Yorkshire sage green, or decide to bring a more industrial edge by choosing London steel or Humber sand, we can help you mix and match colours to get just the right look. Whatever look you want to create, we will work closely with you so you have a country kitchen with durable traditional craftsmanship, skilled engineering and timeless good looks.
